Why does roblox moderate "London" in group names

Hello. Me my friend has created a holder group to our game called “London Roleplay”. I was today going to create a group affiliated with the main group called “London Roleplay Turf Affiliates”. That group would be allied with all “gangs” having turfs in our game. But when I now tried creating that group the name was moderated due to the word “London” being in it. I do not understand why this has happened and I wonder if there is some way to get around this.

I have also tried removing the dots at the start and end of the group name, but…

These are just two examples of many tries to get my affiliates group made.

Yes, I do know that this is probably not the right section to post this but I am not able to post in
Platform feedback, as that probably is the right section to post in.

Thank you for any help in advance.

Is it allowed to make content based on gangs? I really don’t know but as for london, I have no clue maybe its a bug? More possible is the fact that roblox just has there own reasons and we will never know. :frowning:

Da Hood is a game based on gangs and violence isn’t it?

Very true so is the streets. But I didn’t check the rule book for gangs but I was just wondering. :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you tried other city names? Maybe it has to do with that. The word “London” was trademarked 47 times according to the UK Trademark IPO so it might have to do something with that too though its not that likely.

It would seem strange to copyright the word London as it is such a broad and commonly used word for businesses and such.

Well yeah. I guess it has to do with it being a city name? That also doesn’t sound reasonable though.

Thank you for all responses but this was only a bug for me. I had a friend of mine try and it worked.
