Why does the trailer axle "fall off"?

I am trying to make a trailer, but the axle just “falls off”…

I guess SpringConstraints won’t hold the back of the truck as it’s supposed to be for the truck.

As you can see the Springconstraints can’t really hold something in place like in this picture here:

It just hangs from the upper block down to the floor.

But you could try something else:

if you scroll down to the settings of the Coil you see “LimitsEnabled”. Activate that and try changing some settings here:

You can try setting the MaxLength to a diffrent value. Mabye something between 0 and 1 or a larger number. Just try some numbers and watch what changed.

If that doesn’t work I could try looking for a diffrent solution.

Do you have a part in the front of it like a pole and the axel has a hole the axle fits on top of the pole?

Although not as realistic, try making it more like a leafspring or something similar to keep it straight under.

i’d say try something like this to keep it up and stuff

(you can also just put a spring in the middle i guess)

otherwise use a-chassis 6c and grab the wheelgeometry and only weld the stuff that’s supposed to be stuck there
