Hi, so I’m trying to import a rig into blender to animate with the blender animations plugin, the head and legs separate from the torso for some reason. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried deleting all the joints and remaking them with RigEdit and this still did nothing.
I’ve done animations before but I’ve never encountered this issue before. I even went to import some of my other rigs and they imported fine. The rig that I am importing here, though, is an R6 rig resized to be slimmer and taller. Would really appreciate the help, this is really annoying me!
Weird. I’m not a blender pro but by selecting one of the limbs and moving them up, always works for me when one of my limbs looks wrong. However, it may be a dodgy rig. Maybe try watching a youtube video about installing it as it will have a link for the rig in the desc.
Okay, so I remade the rig again from scratch, took the default R6 rig from the roblox rig importer, resized all the arms, and then did model resize on it. I then rewelded the legs and head. It turned out to do the same exact thing.
Okay, so I’ve tried redoing all the welds numerous times, switching the way I created the rig (instead of using model resize just resizing and positioning), and even changing the name of the joints to something different from the default R6 joints to try and get it to work. None of this did anything.
Could it be because the size of the parts is less than 1 stud in size? They are (0.9,2.25,0.9) for the arms and torso and head are 1.8 for the sizes where it is 2 and 0.9 for sizes that are 1 on default R6 if anyone wants to try and replicate it.
