Why doesn't Roblox allow for custom avatar's to be used in any Roblox game?

  1. What do you want to achieve? To be able to use my own imported avatar instead of one the game offers.

  2. What is the issue? If there is a way to use my own imported avatar I would like to know how using a computer.

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Spoke with a fellow Dev member who was very helpful and checked the Developer Hub, but need a solution to make it a reality.

I tried placing my avatar in the StarterPlayer area as a StarterCharacter and clicked on the Game Settings Icon in Roblox Studio and chose Player Choice and Submitted or Saved the change in the Avatar settings, but no change in my avatar when playing Roblox.

  2. There are plenty of ways to achieve this with scripts. Many games have custom character rigs. Surely there’s guides on this.

If you are making a custom rig, try to follow this: How to create a custom character model (I dont know if it will help that well or if that is what you are asking)
