im not sure if this is jsut me or other people but whenever i alt f4 or sometimes hit the x, roblox does not fully close and it keeps me in the game still.
usually will take like 3-4~ minutes to close on its own after this but most the time i have to just task manager it.
I noticed this when they released the Roblox app or whatever.
I got a new computer in september, and when I downloaded Roblox, it added like a weird app to it. Whenever I do Escape > Leave Game, it always brings up the roblox app rather than just closing the entire program, which is super annoying. I’ve started to just quit via the Roblox > Quit Roblox at the top of my mac so it doesn’t bring it up, but then I noticed it takes awhile for Roblox to close.
I’d say this bug is probably because you didn’t quit by Escape > Quit Roblox. When I quit by Escape > Leave Game, it will open the app, and if I close the app I do not have the issue of it taking forever to close.
This may be due to the fact that it takes time for the Application to completely close out of everything, the more Prominent being with loops running constantly, Using Alt + F4 doesn’t End its Service immediately. All it does is simply close the Tab, Ending its Service with Task Manager will however.
This happens with any other game too, and not just Roblox, it depends (May have already said this) on how much is running within a Period of Time, to much stuff (Many Tabs or something) will make it Difficult for the Computer to Close out, Or Load. If not much is happening, your Computer will be able to Prioritize it and get it done faster
However, I prefer to Alt + F4, using the Leave Button is too Savage.
isn’t this already fixed before? mine closed without having to press them twice and i never had this issue after then, alternatively in full-screen you simply just move your mouse to touch the top and ribbon appears with X button.
also note that roblox has the option to not show the app prompt whenever you’re trying to terminate the app.
