Weapons and Cash will never save for Super Statue Defenders. Spamming the group wall or leaving a dislike on the game won’t persuade us to suddenly decide to save coins or weapons bought with coins. This is for one reason only: SSD is a round-based game. This means at the start of the round, everyone starts with the same gear and works their way up each round. For example, think of COD Zombies or even Fortnite. When you first start a match, do you start with the most insane and strongest weapons in these games? I am pretty sure this is not the case. In Fortnite, everyone starts with the same gear, a simple pickaxe, and the players have to battle or search for upgrades. In COD Zombies, players have to kill zombies to get better weapons and upgrades. Why are both games made like this? Why don’t players start with insanely strong gear? There is one good reason for this: To make the game fun and fair for everyone. Imagine if you started COD Zombies with the ray gun or any other superweapon. The rounds would not be as fun, and eventually, the game would get boring very fast. Or imagine if another player started with the rocket launcher in Fortnite while you started with a basic pickaxe. That would probably make anyone irritated as it’s unfair, thus eventually making the game unenjoyable. SSD is exactly the same. Starting the round with your “saved weapons and coins” would be wildly unfair and unfun, not just for other players, but even for you.
We, the developers, really want to make the game fun and fair for everyone, so this is why SSD is built like so. Thank you for understanding.
