Players do not come back to play my game after playing it once. My game is a fix of an older game with a few added features trails, mobile support, settings, sorting inventory, and progression.
I thought adding trails would be a way for players to keep coming back without adding pay to win features (except for vip, that was in the original game), but I’m yet to see any player join for a second time.
I was wondering what your guys’ opinion was. Would you play this game?
Usually players won’t come back if they don’t think that there will be anyone on, if the game has bugs, if the game looks like a game made with no effort and in like 2 minutes, if there isn’t enough to do, or all of this combined. This is also usually why players don’t play very long.
The main problems with your game is the age, content, bugs and that your game doesn’t have a game loop.
A game loop is content that has a beginning, middle and end. Your game is continuous meaning the match continues until the server shuts down.
There is not much content in the game leaving few things for the players to explore. For example, there is only one map and there’s not many things to explore in the map.
Your game is buggy. The vehicle mechanics are hard to control and one of the tools are broken.
Your game uses old graphics. All popular games today uses the newest graphics because people prefer that.
Honestly, I feel it’s cash grabbing on a dead vintage game, people quit playing those style games a long while ago. It’s also morally questionable to be earning Robux off of someone else’s creation…
I don’t have access to my PC atm but I think the pistol tool was broken. The vehicles are hard to control but that does not mean they are buggy. I think it is a great idea to make a new game with TDM, new maps, etc!
