For a bit, I have been looking for some Roblox scripters since im a builder and I want to make games that can actually function. I have made some solo projects but I really struggled because all the systems were choppy or nonplayable. When i actually found a scripter, we started making a game.. After 48 straight hours, i’ve almost made 50% of the map and the scripter struggled to make leaderstats while claiming he was a great scripter..

In reality, there are many excellent programmers; you just need to know how to find them, look at their portfolios, because anyone can lie about being a great programmer.
Even more so in this case, creating a leaderstats system is something a programmer learns on their first day…
Entering building is easy while entering programming is hard. Said differently, being a passable builder is easy while being a passable programmer is difficult. To be able to program anything a game requires someone has to be very knowledgable.
Talking in terms of the author’s case, struggling to make a leaderstats is very concerning for someone who calls themself a “programmer.” You make a thing of instance.
Now, if it counted something like datastore, I’d understand, but Roblox leaderstats would take no more than an hour.
It seems like the guy “vibe-codes” (made-up term for those AI users with big ego to feel better and not care at all that they leave mess behind for others to clean up).
You can contact me here.. Actually I’m not a bad builder at all. I just have a map I need to get done and I seem to be dragging my feet doing it. I have a great sandbox going right now with a full weapon set up and tanks. Some of my best work here by far.. I just don’t think I’m up to what it needs to match that as far as the map. Everything else is done. Whatever you need scripting just let me know..
Many people can program. Not many are programmers. There are also many different types of programmers.. This here is design and it is by far the hardest of them all. So ya, you’ll have problems finding a fit for this.
