The max number of collision groups you can have is 32 because well… it supports Roblox Studio’s engine which is a 32-bit integer.

Other than that I don’t see why you need to use 32 collision groups in a single game lol
I think that it has to do with optimizations and the same for highlight limit
Do you have any examples on why you would need more than 32?
well under 32 collision groups is there an increased amount of lag with every collision group added? Does simply adding collision groups increase lag a significant amount or is it minimal/ non existent?
