Why is my alias for people showing up as their display name on my homepage?

Is this for everyone or just me?

So I have an alias for some people on my main account.

And instead of their display name showing up, it shows their alias.

I am using roblox.com

So this is if I look at my home page this is what I see.

But if you look at her profile. Her display name is not “Boss”

Also, look, I have her alias as “Boss”

Is this some update that Roblox did? Because I haven’t noticed it until today.

Just want to know because it just surprised me that my friend’s display names on certain pages are their Alias and not their actual display name.

Is this normal and that is why everyone is not responding?

Yes, this was a new update. The update changed users named to their aliases.
