I been working on a game called " Beach House Tycoon " I published my game about 3 months ago and it has only got around 2-5 players playing at one time. I really hoped it would get more. I hope we can figure this out.
Havenât played the game but I can see some issues. First, the game is a tycoon. Unless you put massive advertising, the game isnât gonna be successful. Thereâs many many many tycoons on the site, you have to make yours stand out.
Second, your thumbnails are just stolen, that makes the game look lowquality and makes me the player less likely to play.
And thereâs also an annoying number of free models everywhere, including broken cars and âhyper-realisticâ cherry blossom trees donât fit the âmapâ well at all. Then thereâs the most time played leaderboard, why? You canât view your own time played anywhere, and itâs so awkwardly placed in the middle of the map itâs pointless.
You canât expect a bad, rushed & lazy game to do well.
Well I didnât played the game but I immediately see some things you should remove:
Remove the stolen thumbnails, it makes no-sense, some thumbnails are like swords games, not for a tycoon at all. Also stolen thumbnails make your game looks low-quality.
Make less emojis than 4, it makes your game looking low-quality (again) like if you were just trying to get players and not to give a good quality to the players.
IdeaâŚeh gameplayâŚlowest upon lowest of quality, has potential? Definitely try hard and try to put as much detail into every detail of the game (if that makes sense lol) dont think your overworking on something that you may think is minor, remember quality of quantity
