I am having an issue with with Material Manager which a texture can’t load.
My game, House in the Woods has the Material Manager beta enabled and is failing to load just 1 specific wood texture.
In Roblox Studio, the textures seem fine and working but when people joined my game it just appears as a solid grey to them. Other PBR textures in the game work fine.
I have tried to reupload to fix the textures, but it fails to load still. I unapplied the texture and then again. Deleted the MaterialVarient and redid it again. There is only 1 error in the console but it tells nothing on how to fix it.
The white/grey one is ConcreteBlocks. Doesn’t want to load but everything else does.
Also nice bathroom, the floor material, lighting and particles really add toe the realism. Guarantee you could get someone to think that’s real for a second. until they look closer
Usually when I get this issue I try reuploading the textures with different methods. Usually changing the file type to PNG or JPG depending on what is now fixed it. Also uploading the texture as a decal to the roblox website and copying over the ID is a common fox that I’ve used.
I keep getting the same issue, and it’s really annoying. Even if roblox approves the texture, it still appears grey. It’s so stupid. I can’t change them to other texture formats though because I need the transparency, and as far as I know, PNG is the only one that supports that.
