What do you want to achieve?
~ A not-blobby shop
What is the issue?
~ A blobby shop…
What solutions have you tried so far?
~ Tried good old fashioned google, etc, but not even really sure what to search…
I guess this explains it better than anything I could type…
The shop should look like the building on the other side of the mountain, and, instead it… doesn’t…
It used to, it WAS fine…
Why is my shop broken???

Have you tried maybe restarting your studio to see if it’s just a connection error?
Sorry, yes. I should have said I tried all the old switch it off tricks, uninstall tricks, replace building…
I’m stuck. Doesn’t matter what I do, it just, blobs…

Do you have blender or any editing app you use to make like models and ugc?
None. I have photoshop but the 3d stuff in that never worked properly for me, and blender scares me.

Is that a MeshPart? If so, set the RenderFidelity to Precise.

There’s only one assumption of mine left, there must’ve been a error while rendering the model. Is the shop put into just one thing or is it composed into different parts. @SomeFedoraGuy might have better advice than me.

It’s all just parts and unions and welds.
Some fire inside, and a couple point lights.
It was fine, for like, Idk when I put it in, a week or so ago?
Then like a day or two ago it suddenly wasn’t. I don’t know why. I didn’t do anything with it since I moved it in.

Okay so I figured it out, insofar as I have no idea what the issue was, but have managed to fix it.
All the parts were grouped as like Building, Floor, Signpost, etc, and each of these models was then under a Model.
I took these groups out of the parent model and put them in a folder instead, and now it’s fine… (?)
I have several models in my game with child model groups, I don’t know what the issue was here, but (for now, at least) this seems to have fixed it.

It might work if you put the stuff back into the model and increase the LevelOfDetail. Maybe Roblox is just crazy “optimizing” your builds.
Just on one build though?
Will go have a look see if I can find this LevelOfDetail thingy, not come across that before.
ETA: Oh… Literally the first property in a model… Will have a fiddle in a bit and see if this works.
