[SOLVED] Why is my trail looking terrible?

my blood spews are looking weird as hell for some reason, it probably has something to do with my raycast code
local hit, rayPosition, normal = Raycast(splat.Position, splat.Velocity.Unit * 0.5)

i also have the same problem in other projects, games like combat warriors, blood flow and others have very close mechanics on the trails, and they dont look horrible like mine

video doesnt work, if its the actual trail part try increasing the lifespan
