Same here. I load in, press play, and just mindlessly wonder in a maze.
A tutorial or clear objective would help a lot.
Thanks for the feedback @aahGracie and @Rabbit_Lord! We’ll change how loading into the tutorial works.
UPDATE: Changed how tutorial loading works. When you press the button, it now teleports instead of sending you into game first.
I just joined and immediately died after the map loaded
Two min is about how long it took that glome to kill me …
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
And @Paracolity, do you remmeber what map or difficulty it was that made you die? Was it randomly generated?
Easy mode on the caves map I believe
Anyway from what I’ve seen otherwise it looks pretty cool. I really like the lobby style, which is a breath of fresh air from the constant cartoony low poly games nowadays. I say if the bugs are fixed the game could be pretty interesting
It may be the reason why it’s always 2 min … It did come out of the blue when I was just starting to look around. Also had no chance at all of avoiding it at that point.
Did you die from falling off the world or from something else?
Why? Was it too fast, or were you trapped? How could we make it easier to avoid while still adding excitment to the game?
I just spawned in and really didn’t have time to even look around. That mob should come into play much later. Give me a chance to get hooked 1st.
Like, should we increase the golem spawn time?
I would. But it’s up to you. I didn’t even know there was a golem till I died.
Ok! How could we make it easier to know there’s a golem beforehand?
Leave signs there is a danger … Make the golem slower. So they die as a mistaken path they took and not due to just getting out ran. It’s not OP or unfair if they made the mistake …
What signs were you thinking of?
Ok, I believe I now fixed that issue!
Perhaps you could compensate and make the tutorial slightly longer, so the user completes the map without the golem first, and then they go in the map with the golem.
