More issues with audio… great…
Anyways, I’ve been trying to upload songs for my game, and I’ve made sure that none of them are copyrighted. However, these two songs (Alan Walker - Force and Alan Walker - Spectre) keep getting blocked. I looked it up and the source I read said that both songs aren’t copyrighted, so why can’t I upload them? The only reason I can think of is that because I downloaded the MP3s of the Youtube songs using Convertio, Roblox sees the files as unofficial copies… which i guess it kind of is? I downloaded it this way because I couldn’t find the official download for either song. Can someone tell me where I can find the official song downloads? Or is my theory wrong completely and Roblox is blocking the songs for another reason?
Try using DevForum to PM a moderator and they can hopefully provide some insight to why they are blocked. They’ve helped me before with improperly moderated items, however they might have a good reason. Good luck
I’ve contacted moderation before, but they never get back to me. Is there anyone that you know of in particular that would respond to me?
Then how come both songs were on roblox before last month privated all of them…?
Because they weren’t supposed to be there. Roblox was literally sued over this, and they were forced to concede by quickly removing all audio, and now they are slowly whitelisting approved audios. The whole point of privating the audios is to purge the marketplace of copyrighted audio, then the new limit system will allow moderation to properly review audio with more detail before approving.
I wonder why, Alan was the king of copyright free with the others like TheFatRat, and such
Alright, guess I’m gonna go hunt for some new songs. Idk why that one website lied about the songs being copyrighted…
im afraid if i mentioned a name it might mean people only PM them. Just look in the moderator group and message someone there.
They obviously were fractions of the music/song, the moderation bot would have been unable to detect it.
(Correct me if I’m wrong)
