My problem is that I can’t change the name of my group, I transferred to my alt but it won’t let me change the name because ownership was “changed too recently.” I want to know why this is a feature, and why the time to change the name is so long or how to get around the problem.
It’s because group ownership was changed within the last 90 days.
Roblox states that in order to change the group name, you must meet the following requirements:

- Changing a group’s name costs 100 Robux paid by the group owner’s Robux.
- The owner of the group must have a verified email address on their Roblox account.
- Ownership of the group has not changed within the last 90 days.

Not everything is shown on the Roblox website, so I just provided OP with some more information regarding how long they would have to wait for.
Likely to prevent users with malicious intent switching around groups often to possibly avoid moderation or to confuse people.
