Hello!
Recently my team and I spent around a month creating a sequel to the “Don’t Press The Button” games. We worked on Don’t Press The Button 5, we spent such a long time on making the UI, Building and Scripting better than any other Don’t Press The Button Game. We did a beta launch and got extremely good results, everyone loved it, playtime was around 10 minutes, loads of likes. I then decided to sponsor a full 60k and it did decent, similar results just a lot lower of a playtime. I was hoping after the 60k sponsor that the game would be boosted near the top few rows when you type in “Don’t Press The Button” but no… I’m super confused on how my game with good ratings, 86k visits, and nearly 1k favorites doesn’t get anywhere near the top, I’ve scrolled down for like 30 minutes and still couldn’t find it.
My Game has better ratings, more visits than many of these games, and I’m just confused on how it isn’t up there?
Hm, the number of times “don’t press the button” is in the description affects how far up the page a game would be, so that might be one of the things affecting the search result.
Update: The game eventually did get on the top row, then slowly as it gained more players it got closer and closer to the top-left spot. Now I am the 4th one in the top row! I learned that the best way to have your game up to the top of the keyword search is mainly based on one thing, which is the average player count of your game!
