In my opinion, design 4 as it looks pretty neat with the outer borders and is balanced with the overall design

I agree with Architect, the outer borders in design 4 make it look very neat.
I like design 3 the most. The shadow gives a feeling I like.
This quite depends on what your using it for I would experiment with different selections and see which ones suits your game. All of them are good if your going for a more cartoony feel i would try going for a more rounded border design selection 2 - 4.
I would give each design their own individual artwork as well as try seeing what works best to you. the first and second design look quite similar i see you move them and added a more border design to it. I would also consider creating variety of different styles and find the ones that look good to you.

I like design 3 the most because the shadows add more depth to it if that makes sense.

I personally would choose either 3-4, though if you choose 4 I would recommend fixing the spacing of the border.

I really like design 3 and 4. Design 1 just looks a bit basic.

Design 4 would be the best in my opinion, next favorite would be 3rd one. If you plan to use third one as a button with text, then I suggest giving to it a smooth button effect shown below
