Widget Based Profile Pages
I think it’d be interesting to bring in more creativity with profiles by adding widget based profiles, a drag and drop system for creating a unique profile page of your own.

It would allow each profile page to vary, and you’d be able to showcase your best work if you are a developer, or create a “shop” type profile if you are a designer/clothing designer.

And normal users could as well get some fun out of it by picking what they want people to see first when they visit their profile, whether it be their full character outfit, description, or favourites. It’d be a completely custom experience for all users.

I was also making a “editor” example, but decided not to finish it as it was getting fairly detailed and taking up a bit to much time. heh. :stuck_out_tongue:

I definitely support this!

I could have sworn there was talk about a widget-based profile system when the new profile layout was rolled out, but I guess it never got finished.

I believe they did speak about it, but I never saw an official announcement nor much talk other than some users bringing it up. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m pretty sure they spoke about at RDC, that they’re going to add stuff like that so you can sort it better. I don’t know when they said that’ll be coming, but I support this and think they’re going to add it.

This would make profiles a lot more useful, and maybe even get the Follow system to be something to acknowledge. Support.

It would definitely improve the social aspect of roblox and allow for more choice. I can’t wait to customize my profile! (hopefully) :octopus:

Support, I seem to remember that this was mentioned too, but I forget when. It would be nice to have more personalized stuff.

I like this idea. I think I’d also like to see the ability to customize colour schemes… perhaps sort of the way you can on Twitter.

I support this idea! Although I do recall it being mentioned about at RDC UK only a few days ago, so I believe it’s already planned! :stuck_out_tongue:

since the profiles were updated, they’ve always promised we will be able to customize our profile layout.

they touched on it more at RDC, but still haven’t received a estimated release date or any demos etc

I really do support this for a big fact that not everyone on Roblox develops games… a lot are artists, a lot are clothing designers, etcetc. I think a widget based style would be really awesome so you can showcase your work, whether that being your best game creations, or your best art and clothing pieces! I’d be a great way to get business too since you’d be able to redirect people to your profile so they can see your best work right up on your page instead of them needing to cycle through your inventory.

It would be awesome if game pages were widget based too. Just to have the option to move stuff around on game pages would be nice.

Damn dude not everybody knows Roblox is working on it. It’s good to have a thread on it to show interest, not every thread that is repetitive has to be locked.
