Will I get a ban on a private game?

My friends and I had this idea about making a game that has this concept of a card game called “Card against humanity”, but since it is not appropriate for Roblox, we thought about making the game private/unlisted so only we can play it.

However, this gives me a little concern about getting my account banned (so do my friends). So quick question, Will I (and my friends) going to get banned by this?

Well I don’t think you get banned if the game doesn’t get reported, or if a roblox doesn’t admin finds out about the it.

I think as long as you keep the game hidden from the public, and not publicly stream and play it then you’re fine.

Yeah no, I don’t recommend developers encourage other users to break the rules. You are still liable to moderation action for private games. Just don’t upload inappropriate content to Roblox regardless of whether it’s public or private.

You’re still breaching Roblox’s policy. Why not just play an online cards against humanity instead of remaking it on Roblox and getting banned?

Because the main game is paid and we see that it’s fairly easy to make. We also have experiences on roblox studio engine the most.

either way, you have the roblox terms of service. you should definitely read this before posting stuff like this.
the tos clearly states strictly no pornography, swear words, (pretty vague on blood) and all the obvious things that COPPA dislikes.

In short: Yes, you could get banned.

If your game is on Roblox’s platform and it violates their ToS, private or not, you’ll get banned if Roblox is made aware of it.
