So I’m working on a game with my brother but we used free models. Lets say I put in the description … " Made by funnyfunns and … "
Will I get banned?

I think it’d be fine. Free models are open source for everyone to use, no credit needed.
free models… dude it’s just free why you are supposed to put credits about the creator?
I don’t know man, because you can’t say you made a game but some of it you didnt do.
You shouldn’t be banned. In my opinion, once you put something for free on the toolbox it is open source without any copyright.
you don’t need to credit any free models as they are open for everyone to use. it could be nice to credit the original developers, but it shouldn’t be expected and not crediting them is not against terms of service
Oh okay, I heard that you can get banned
i would only put credits if the creator (of the model) asks for credits but i do not use free models that much so i do not know
some of them got copyright you are not going to believe.
I used random music on my game and I learned it’s copyrighted and the music I used is created by ROBLOX!?
Where’d you hear it from? Evidently not a very good source.
I think you may have heard if you specifically worked with someone and took their work without credit. But the toolbox is open to the public to use for anything.
If the creator asks for credits, you don’t have to give it to them, it’s a FREE model.
no problem if you don’t use leaked models
Well, I don’t know, I think thats what I heard.
Yes, music is an entirely different issue. Roblox’s uploaded music is from an outside provider they have partnered with to upload the sounds for free. You can still be hit with copyright strikes when playing them. Although if placed inside of a game you shouldn’t be.
Absolutely not, Players upload free models so everyone can use them.
Yeah you can’t man. Don’t be worried. There is a terms and use about this. You basically sign a “contract” when making a free model that people can take and do whatever they want. I wouldn’t recommend walking around and saying “HEY CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME MODEL I MADE!” but you’r 100% good man.
Sometimes piggy models are stolen from the game and uploaded onto the toolbox, that is copyrighted.
Yes, those are copyrighted because the original creator did not authorize their use in the toolbox. They were uploaded by others.
Yes I was just responding to you saying the model is immediately “open source” when it isn’t
