Will I get banned if I put ultra-realistic gun noises (from an actual gun)?

everybody knows that moderation is… a little too much and a friend got banned for uploading a picture asking for people to follow

No probably not but you could just add a setting that turns off gun noises

Also you should just upload it on an alt so even if you do get banned it won’t stay as moderation history and you can upload it again (not sure if it instant moderates if the sound is same like decals so you should probably change the sound a tiny bit)

Little bit late here by a few years. But I’ll provide a quick breakdown on how Roblox’s moderation works in a nutshell as of today for anyone still wondering

Although yes, Roblox does have moderation personnel on hand, most of Roblox’s moderation is handled via AI most of the time rather than actual humans, and AI is only still in a state of development now, so due to the fact that Roblox is using experimental technology, there is 100% prone to be issues with it and errors to happen from time to time.

This is why we see people getting banned for the most outlandish stuff, though 80% of the time actual moderation staff are able to resolve this.

Now in the case that your game gets removed for the case of realistic gun fire audios, then you’d likely have better luck contacting Roblox moderation and telling them about your case. Though you will need to provide them with almost every bit of detail about the game and what it was moderated, since Moderation Staff tends to be a bit spotty, it really depends on if you’re lucky enough to land with a well-knowing moderator who knows what they’re doing, or someone from one of those off-sea’s Call Centers who are only in there for the paycheck and know almost nothing about Roblox and its ToS.

Now personally in my opinion, the state of Roblox Moderation is a bit rather “iffy” these days, but its alot more better than in the past, when Roblox Moderation did pretty much nothing at all whatsoever. For example exploiters actually gets banned off the platform now rather than never, though the moderation team is still not the best at all and still could 100% be better.
