I’m curious if it’s allowed to connect external software using API to do stuff such as opening links directly from the game according to Roblox terms of service.
I didn’t find if it’s allowed or not.
Well considering that scammers use API to take people’s accounts and Roblox chooses to not take action when they get reported I would say you will be fine if you choose to do so

Off-site links that are user-facing are not allowed on the platform.
If this is a studio plugin, there are exceptions, but I still wouldn’t publish it onto the creator marketplace.
