So, I am working on a game with a lot of violence… yeah, a few gallons of blood, a dozen of deaths… per second, you get the point
For example, will an animation of a player attacking a npc with a pencil (like in the movie john wick 2) get my game banned? Just asking because of all the people saying that soon there’ll 18+ games on roblox.
As Roblox Community Guidelines says: “Although some experiences on Roblox may include weapons and violence, we don’t allow content that contains extreme violence or serious physical or psychological abuse , including: Animal abuse and torture. Realistic depictions of extreme Gore.”.
If this rule has been broken then the game will be moderated and same thin will happen with owner’s account.
Additionally, you can set the limit of people who will play the experience by setting Age Recommendations.

so if I set the age recc. to 13+ I can use extreme violence in my game? (no animal abuse nor torture, just a lot of blood and killing)
Depends on what content is presenting in the experience yet.
If it’s safe and non-violent then you can set Age Recommendation to 9+;
If it’s contains gore and violent content then you can set Age Recommendation to 13+.
The game will have violence, I’m just asking if the violence presenting in fights in the game is too much even for 13+ Because the game will contain a lot of realistic blood/gore.
Then it would be enough for 13+.

Yeah, I’d suggest waiting until there’s a 16+ age recommendation. Until then, you can probably remove some gore or realistic blood.

yeah, the game is all about fighting, and what better movie to get inspiration from for a game that is all about fighting

For now to not get it banned put the age limit as high as it can be. If right now there is only 13 + then set it to that, but AS SOON and i mean exactly AS SOON roblox adds 16 + or 18 + then IMMEDIATELY set it to that. Remember to also add a warning for people that join the game about what the game contains for extra security!
This was for the safety of users, who is playing on the platform. Phantom Forces is essentially doesn’t contain elements of gore or a bit. For example of real moderations on these experiences, in the past year or more, on YouTube, there was populated a gore game involving: Guns, Realistic Gore and etc.
