Will this get me banned?

I’ve seen many youtubers put this in front of their video saying that if you do not like the video the spider will be in your room tonight. I am wondering if this would be allowed in roblox? Would it be allowed for the game to prompt you this if you open the roblox menu?

Possibly allowed.
Not sure though.

Not sure on the specific actions that would be taken by Roblox mods if it was reported, but it could be regarded as threatening behaviour or intimidation.

As spiders do actually appear in rooms and many people have a genuine fear of them it would be difficult to pass it off as harmless banter. YouTubers can make it sound jokey and engage more personally with the viewer so there is more context to the statement. And most importantly they don’t have to answer to Roblox moderators!

Im afraid of stud bricks. Dont use studs in your game or I will report and ban you

yes it is definitely allowed, yes

Yes. Extending any argument to a point of ridiculousness was well documented millenia ago by a Greek philosopher I forget the name of… still, he didn’t have to answer to roblox mods either.
It’s not an issue because people are scared of spiders, it’s the threat of a consequence.

Link for Terms is here Roblox Community Standards – Roblox Support

Threatening others with real-world or online harm, inciting violence against people or property, bullying, stalking, trolling, harassment, intimidation, extortion, and blackmail are not permitted on Roblox.

Read it yourself and make your own mind up.

What about publicly shaming users who dont buy your gamepass?

Lol.
Possibly even worse. As you could actually carry it out.

I’ve seen numerous posts on the same lines as ‘will this get me banned?’, short answer don’t know for certain, read the standards yourself.

It’s not as if there is a line in the sand drawn, if you step over it you’re banned. Think of it as taking a trip to the beach, you can play on the beach as much as you like just bear in mind if you get too close to the water you’ll get wet, and sometimes you’ll get wet without meaning to. But you can of course also cannonball straight in.
I’m not saying this is a cannonball, perhaps you can do it so it keeps you dry, just without any context and in my opinion this type of practice doesn’t have any connection to producing quality game experiences and is only for the developers benefit of some extra player time (are they playing because they like the game, or because they were threatened in some way?). I think as a platform Roblox has ideals of civility amongst it’s users (not saying they are always met) but encouraging intimidation of the player base (mostly children) I don’t think is a goal to aim for.
Making the game addicting on the other hand is a whole other moral issue, but from a moderation point of view the practice is somewhat overlooked in general.
