I am currently working on an inventory system. I have designed this UI but I’m wondering what other people think of it. Will it appeal to kids?

I think this ui is appealing for kids because it looks cartoony so it’s GOOD.

Yeah I think it will appeal to kids, but maybe try changing the black to different colours and see wich looks best.

Looks so good. But if you are going for some kid style, i think it need one thing and its colours. Make the gui more coloured not just black.

Simply, yes, because the UI’s icons look really kid-friendly, and this, in my opinion, would be liked by children very much, though, since you want it to look appealing for kids, I’d suggest maybe you should add a cartoonish background for the UI or apply some lively color, rather than black, to avoid it from looking dull.

My only suggestion is to change the gradient here to be a flat color of dark gray with an inner shadow on the edges (inset shadow, not outside)
It might make it more friendly to look at on mobile devices too. Otherwise, it’s very clean and very simple. Good work.

Look really clean polished! and yes the colours are simple and bright and it will defo appeal to kids Though why are there 200M PICKAXES???

It looks pretty nice and the consistency is clear. Flat colors and simple shaped figures make it pretty appealing to any age.

I asked my cousin (She is 5) if she liked it and she said yes and she is always brutally honest so it must appeal.

This is incredible, and it will appeal to kids. While kids are attracted to vibrant colors, that’s not what you’d really want in this case, since this is an inventory menu, and the player has to focus on the items they have, nothing else.
