Window Braking - Which Way

Hi! So me and my friend have different feelings of how should a window fall. We have 2 options
Number 1: If your bullet hits the window, the whole window will break.
Number 2: If your bullet hits the window, a block will fall out of it, making the window really blocky, because each window would constain 4 of these fall-parts.

I think number2 is ammo waste and time waste, and if you shoot the down 2 parts, the other 2 will fly.
What do you think? Which method would you see in a roblox game?

I would prefer 2 but there must be cracks and especially for armor peiercing ammo

For me it kinda depends.

If your game is blocky then number one.

If your game is realistic then number 2 but the bullets would make cracks instead of a chunk falling out.

Thanks. Would you use ammo to break the window or you would look after a door to enter the area.

the more probable option would be your friends option, it is much easier to make the type they seem to be referencing and if you wish to reduce “lag” for the final product.

I would break a window if it is direct attack
