It does this everytime ROBLOX updates and I have to drag it back into position. This is really annoying and every time it has been happening lately I have been getting even more annoyed by it!
I have the opposite problem on OS X. Every time it updates, it adds a Roblox Studio icon to my taskbar, and I really don’t want it there as I accidentally click it all the time.
This is probably related to the fact that roblox creates a new folder for every version, which leads to this, massive amounts of firewall entries for roblox, and other related issues with entries.
You might be pointing your shortcut to RobloxStudioBetaLauncher.exe in the level above the install dir, versus when ROBLOX creates a shortcut for users it points to RobloxStudioBeta.exe in the install dir.
I wouldn’t hold my breath, we’ve been talking about fixing this for various reasons for years. Namely with laptops with dedicated graphics cards, every update, you have to tell Roblox to work with the Nvidia/AMD graphics instead of the Intel ones.
