Faction guidelines are meant to be guidelines and must be considered under the umbrella of common sense.

Staff reserve the ability to make the decision on whether your faction is official or not at any period in time.

  • Factions can be separated into categories based on their level of involvement and administration within the genre. These categories are Houses, Gangs, Mercenaries, Religions, Staff Operated, and Custom factions. Each faction type has different regulations associated with it.

  • Leadership for each faction is decided is generally based on lore unless it is a custom or staff operated faction.

    • Houses are lead by their head Lord/Lady and are given such a position when they successfully pass a motion for officialization. This status can only be lost via abdication to another member of the house’s family/lineage.

    • Gangs are lead by the governing force that the gang chooses to abide by, they must declare at least one person that staff can speak to regarding issues that may come up regarding their actions or members.

    • Mercenaries are lead by the governing force that the mercenary group chooses to abide by, they must declare one or multiple people for staff to speak to regarding issues that may come up regarding their actions or members.

    • Religions are lead by their equivalent head priest. Religions may have a council or democratic process but must elect at least one leader for staff to recognize.

    • Staff operated factions are controlled by one or more staff members.

    • Custom factions are controlled by their own lore or otherwise required governing bodies. Examples:
