2019 marks Wipeout Roblox’s 7th season, and for the brand new season we are changing the formula a bit.
Season 7 will be hosted on a course with Season 3 obstacles. Season 7 will last 13 episodes, and they will be hosted throughout January to May. The episodes will then be uploaded weekly from June to September.
For Season 7 we have decided to start handpicking all contestants. Each episode the staff will select the 24 to compete, this also means it’s unlikely to be picked 2 episodes in a row. We will be focusing on only selecting some of the best contestants in the community; if you have been banned from Wipeout Roblox in the past, you may not be selected to compete as often.
Throughout Season 6 we had many issues with alternate accounts. We tried to solve this mid-season by thoroughly checking each account we were suspicious of, but this ended up taking a while and a few alts ended up competing anyways. To solve this issue we are no longer going to be allowing newcomers to compete unless they are obviously mains. But for the most part, you will only be allowed to compete in Season 7 if you have previously competed on Wipeout Roblox.
Some of the other changes we will be making in Season 7 include removing the first person lock, using multiple camera angles for the broadcast, a doubled prize, and more.
With that said, I’ll see you all at the Season 7 premiere on January 26.
