Using the cauldron:
Utilising the cauldron is relatively easy, all you need to do is approach it and a prompt will come on your screen and show you the key for your device. On desktop you need only hold B with the item you wish to put into the cauldron equipped.
One simple fact about making potions is the recipe will always end with an empty bottle to finalise the potion, so don’t forget to visit the general shop to purchase an empty glass bottle for bottling your concoctions!
Another cool thing about potions is if you’re good at it, you can flip them for profit at Lord Lanugers shop, all potions have a price tag and can be sold for galleons which you may need for prestiging your character or buying rare spells!

Health Potion
The Health Potion is a very easy potion to obtain ingredients for as the it’s components it’s made up of are of some of the most common in the game. All you will need to make this simple potion is two roses, a achromatic and your empty bottle.
Notable Effects:
- The potion will heal the user to full health on consumption.
Wisdom Potion
Wisdom Potion
The Wisdom Potion is a relatively easy potion to make and is a core part of collecting wisdom in a fast and efficient manner asides from utilising your book of knowledge. All you will need for this potion is one wisteria, two achromatic and one empty bottle.
Notable Effects:
- The potion will grant the user a moderate amount of Wisdom upon consumption.
