(1) Introduction
Welcome to the Astral Isles. By reading this, you are already ahead of the game, as this guide explains to you everything you need to know about the group. It will not be easy to climb the ranks, it is grueling to train here; But do not be afraid, you will learn much in your time here. I apologize if anything in this guide is outdated or misspelled. If it is outdated, I assure you, another is being made. If anything is wrong, please do not hesitate to Private Message me. Thank you for taking some time to read this guide, and I hope it helps you to have a better understanding of what goes on within the group. Again, welcome to the Astral Isles, and enjoy your stay.
(2) Rules
General Rules
-No Spamming, Flaming, Trolling, etc. Just generally be a kind and decent person within reason.
-Always listen to a High Rank (Archivist+) at a training or any Wizards event.
-Follow all extra rules given at trainings.
-No bribery is allowed AT ALL within the Wizards of the Astral Isles. If one is caught trying to bribe, they will be exiled. If an HR is caught accepting a bribe, they will be exiled.
-Respect all other Wizards, Knights, etc. at a training, or at any place. We’re Wizards, not savages.
-Try not to double post on the wall unless your post does not fit into one text box.
-Do not advertise unrelated items in the group.
-Do not beg for a promotion or ask for one for no reason.
Training Rules
-Do not speak while the trainer is speaking.
-Do not pull out a weapon unless told to.
-Generally act mature.
-Listen and follow all the commands of the current trainer.
(3) The Ranks
Low Ranks
(1) Guild Applicant
A newcomer to the Astral Isles aspiring to one day be a great wizard.
Be accepted into the group.
(2) Apprentice
An individual who has completed basic training is awarded with the title of Apprentice. But their work is not about to get easier.
Obtain 2 points at a training.
(3) Student
One who has earned their rightful place in the Wizards of the Astral Isles by intense training and preparation.
Obtain 4 points at a training, and show an understanding of all the basics of combat.
(4) Student Elite
Stronger than the average Student. A Student that has excelled is awarded with the title of Student Elite.
Obtain 6 points at a training, and show moderate ability at using combat techniques.
Mid Ranks
(5) Scholar
Only the smartest of individuals within the entirety of the Astral Isles are awarded with the title of Scholar. They aid the High Scholar in further research.
Obtain 7 points at a training, as well as excelling in all aspects of battle. Completion of the Research Base Galois as well as the recommendation of 2 HRs is also required.
(5) Wizard
Only the strongest of individuals within the entirety of the Astral Isles is awarded with the title of Wizard. They aid the Master Wizard in battle and defense.
Obtain 7 points at a training, as well as excelling in all aspects of battle. Completion of the Research Base Galois as well as the recommendation of 2 HRs is also required.
High Ranks
(6) Archivist
These keepers of the tomes know much about the lore, as well as help protect the Archive. They spend much of their time teaching newcomers to the Astral Isles and helping others excel.
(7) High Scholar
The lead researcher in the Astral Isles. The original teacher of everyone in the Isles. Not much is known about the past of the High Scholar.
(7) Master Wizard
The head battle mage of the Astral Isles. Focuses on the directing of wizards to win their battles.
Diplomats
(8) Council
Trusted folk that have earned their place to the council. They are close friends of the Arch-Mage.
(9) Redcliff Liasson
Friend and ally to the Wizards of the Astral Isles. This rank is reserved for the Wind Walker himself, Sorcus.
Arch-Mage
(10) SolarCrane
Descendant of Arch-Mage HotThoth, and ruler of the Astral Isles. This rank is reserved for Arch-Mage SolarCrane.
