Wonky terrain shoreline

Hey guys. I’m making a game that is terrain-based and it includes an ocean. However, when I try to make a realistic shoreline, it ends up like this:


Here is the shoreline without the water:

Here is what the shoreline looks like underwater:

For some reason, the part where water meets land turns all triangle and I think that is what is making the shoreline look so bad. Please tell me how to fix this. I have tried everything I could and it won’t work

It’s always done that.
I find there’s a certain angle of shore material that makes it better. If it’s too steep or too shallow the water voxels interfere with the shore material voxels.
I also use the grow and erode tools with the size set to 2 and the strength slider set to the minimum value (.1) since it’s a bit easier to see when your changes to the shore looks best.
