Very nice startup! I love the amount of player interaction!

Just an irrelevant question, have you tried PBR yet and how do you think it looks compared to regular rendering?

no didn’t try PBR yet but I’ll soon check it, and I did put the new “MaterialService” in the game but didn’t do a lot of things with it yet…

maybe also try the new 2022 materials, you can enable/disable with the “Use2022Materials” property on the material service, I really like most of them

Btw, it’s super simple to enable them, you just have to set the value of these scales to 1 and you’re good to go.

In my opinion it looks pretty cool. What do you think about it?

personally I dont really like it… the reflections are too strong, in my opinion it would be better to leave it like it was

Reflectiveness is based on the metalness and roughness of an object. It happens automatically. Maybe change the material of the wall, since walls aren usually made of metal.

Example of a wood floor:

Metalness Map (The whiter the pixel, the more reflective it is):

Roughness Map (The whiter the pixel, the less smooth the material is):

I already tried to import other materials but it didn’t look very good

Oh, I was just explaing how reflectiveness is determined with a PBR wotkflow.
