Working on a space station build, need help with lighting

Im trying to make the place visible, but without losing the detail that comes with shadows. I have tried changing the ambient, but with the visibility it grants, i lose the detail that comes with shadows.

Unchanged ambient:

I have never really tried modeling/building at this scale, and would like to know how to make this look as good as possible.

You could try to put lights on the roof around in a circle like the picture i provided below!

then just have point lights or something pointing down to give off light!

The lights give off a sort of film onto the glass. do you have any ideas as to how to get around this?

Edit: I guess maybe a slight tint from the light would look real good, its just that this amount of tint is a little overkill

Theres not much you could do about that since its roblox.

Would it change anything if i changed the material from glass to smooth plastic?

Yes it would change it quite a bit.

Glass looks a lot better, Maybe use that and you should be good!

Try making the neons a Orange or a purple might add some detail to it

No problem, Stick with the orange tint cause it looks a lot more better, Remember to set the one as an answer so others know, Don’t think you want people to continue to help when you have it fixed.

I sometimes darken the lighting in Lighting and use spotlights in specific areas to do my lighting work.
