Caves next would be nice you can implement those with perlin worms I think.

how would the world generation work? would it generate on every server, generate on a timer, etc; other then that seems like a cool thing to do

It will be a different map per server (i might change this in the future). About how i made it, well, i used Perlin Noise with ridged fractals and FBm fractals.

This looks very good! You should add caves, oceans/seas/bigger bodies of water, and a desert. Nice job on this!

I agree with the comments asking for caves to be added. I think it still looks great how it currently is, though!
