Would a spin the wheel for free every day in a in game casino be considered gambling?

Hi guys I am making a game and I would like to add a spin the wheel everyday to win prizes feature in an in game casino that would require no robux/in game currency to spin. Would it be considered gambling in roblox tos?

No. It’s free so you’re not “gambling” anything.

Its fine but the casino part may get you in trouble

It can be robbed too so spin the wheel feature is just a part of the casino like madcity

Casino’s aren’t against TOS. It’s fine UNLESS it involves Robux or other kind of real currency’s.

You don’t have to display what chances you have of winning a prize, but it’s a nice feature to have.

AFAIK its not gambling. Gambling is risking a currency(robux in case of roblox) to win something of greater value with a high chance of losing or breaking even. You are not risking anything here and dont see any thing immoral here.

It is not gambling, if you’re not paying anything for it for a random prize. The output has to be at least some compensation if you’re going to apply pay to spin. If not, then it’s all green.

If it’s free why does it matter

Because time is money. For all we know, the wheel could be rigged to win 0.0001% of the time. :sunglasses:

Correction: You don’t have to display the probabilities if the wheel is free.

Actually, if the wheel is free to spin then you don’t have to display the odds.

Oh, I’m sorry for spreading misinformation! I’ll change the post.

Gambling is explicitly when there’s something on the table to lose. A daily spin-the-wheel attempt does not fall under gambling and is equivalent to a random daily login rewards system just with a fancy animation attached. Go ahead if that’s what you’d like to have in your game.
