Would Cinema 4D or Blender be easier for Low Poly Assets?

I’ve been making various assets on ROBLOX Studio for a couple of years, but I’ve been thinking it’d be much more efficient for me to go to either Cinema 4D or Blender, but I was questioning which would be more easier to get modelling on.

I believe Cinema4D is more animation centric while Blender is more 3D modeling based.

I would say that Blender would be easier because it offers many tools that makes modeling easier.

Also, don’t take my full word for it as I’m not an experienced modeler.

That’s my two cents when it comes to the difference between Blender and Cinema4D.

Since you are a beginner to 3d modeling, I would recommend you to try out Blender first since you need to pay in order to use Cinema 4D

I’ve already paid for Cinema 4D for motion design. But as recommended, I’ll start with Blender first.
Thanks for the feedback!

I personally believe that blender is much more versatile in 3D modelling in general. Blender is very straight-forward to learn with many tutorials and I’d highly recommend it especially for low-poly assets. Many good friends of mine love using blender in their commissions and I do too.
Hope this helps!

Well I find Cinema4D to be easier in making low poly models but that’s because I started learning C4D first rather than blender.

Interesting!
This will help a lot. Thanks!

I thought that Cinema 4D would be more easier for myself since I’ve worked in Cinema 4D for quite a while, but since Blender is more on the modelling side compared to Cinema 4D I’ll give Blender a try and see how it goes, and if doesn’t suit my liking, I’ll try Cinema 4D and see how it goes as well.
Thanks for the feedback.

I say Blender is easier. I’ve personally been using C4D because I found it more intuitive. However, I recently tried the new Blender 2.8 Beta and I found it way really surprising. They improved the software a lot with this new update. The entire UI has been rethought and it has fixed everything that made me go for C4D at first. So right now I would say going toward blender is a better choice considering that the software has improved a lot.

Oh wow, I’ll definitely try it out later on. Thanks for the feedback!
