So every since Roblox announced theyre gonna try to expaind into china. I started thinkin about this idea
Would it be worth the struggle to get my games into china??. Id have to like make my games almost 100% kid friendly n crap just to get it there. No blood,No monsters, No political stuff(These are like the only 3 rules i remember from the article roblox had written haha so sorry i cant list more)
I think it could be a cool and intressting idea to try to expand my games into another part of the world thats not US or europe. I remember reading some concered replies back then when Roblox announced this but i cant 100% recall exactly what they mentioned. All i remember is that they thought it was a bad idea.
Thats basically my question. Would this be a stupid or good idea? honestly i think it could be a good idea. But im not 100% exactly sure so thats why im askin yall for advice
China just had its second “Opium war” against video games addiction. Till now, underages in China can only play ANY sort of video games 3 hours a week on specific hours. (It’s announced by the government and Tencent)
Which means, if your game targets underages, you’d probably consider twice.
NOTE:
LuoBu does not implement DevEx, they will verify your game and if the quality and originality is good enough, they will send you 3000-5000¥ every month which is around US$ 500-800, the conditions being that you’ll update the game once or twice a month.
I know there are many very high quality games on Roblox but unfortunately for some reasons they fail to achieve a minimum level of success, whether if it’s because the lore was too fantastic, the hardware requirements were to high etc, but the devs have spent many weeks or even months on it so I think that it is indeed considerable to make a few hundreds bucks monthly by simply reuploading a failed game.
