They were hugely helpful. This experience is based on the obby presented in the CKStudio+ courses. I made this a time trial obby. I also added a leader board, as well as some other changes. Any constructive feedback would be appreciated. The link to the experience is below:
Hello.
I have played your time trial obby and it is pretty good. I like the builds and the stages seem to be good (pity that my phone lags, couldn’t get to all of the stages) the leaderboard is a good inclusion and overall I really like it as you can complete with friends for that top place spot on the leaderboards.
Maybe more content like a Halo if u win might make the game better
That was a style choice on my part. Obviously, you don’t care for the look… Did you actually, play the game? If not, give it a try. If you did, try to play through to completion. The fastest time so far is approximately 55 seconds.
He said he was looking for constructive criticism, so please notice the difference between that and inconsiderate feedback.
The game looks alright for a starting build. Some tips I could offer: Try making each stage its own unique “level”, Some models appear to be from the catalog which are typically frowned upon when used in games, and you could look into some ways to make your game more exciting/unique.
Thanks for the constructive feedback Aensvey. I did use some models from the catalog. They were free models where the creator was “ROBLOX”. For example, the treasure chest was from the “Synty Dungeon Pack” which was made available for free by Roblox. I assumed this would be okay since Roblox made it available.
That’s a good thought on making each stage it’s own level. I was thinking that since the whole game is short, to keep it all one level. But I will investigate. Since this was my first built, I’m still learning. I was glad to get it across the finish line to completion. Thanks again for the thoughtful response.
very annoying, no button to restart, very blocky and not structured well building wise, but the obby design is alright except for that first part with the bricky bricks, and since it is your first game, i’ll give you an overall 5/10, its well made, but can be much better.
(still trying to finish a boulder crushed me, also boulders should take away health and low health shud make u slow)
