Hey, I was just wondering if this was allowed.
Hey everyone, I was wondering if I would be allowed to make a grand theft auto 5 type game, ofcourse there would be no inappropriate stuff, or drug related stuff. But I was wondering like animations where you break the window and start the car, or pull an NPC out of a car and start driving. Or could like rob a gas station & hold a hostage?

As long as you don’t steal any assets from any game, you should be fine. Game concepts cannot be taken down for copyright, which is why there are many games that are very close remakes of popular games such as Among Us 
yes, obviously you can, as like ijmod say, don’t copy.
And also, do not add:
Drinks
Naked persons
Too much gore
Drug is not alloed obviously.
Hostage is probably allowed since most of games like city roleplay have this “Roleplays”
Yup, I’ve looked into it.
Hostage situations are allowed, but situations such as, holding a hostage at gun point then walking out of a building threatening to kill them, or torture situations to get money.

Yes there’s a million games like that, both in roblox and in the real world
I wouldn’t use another circumstance as justification for it being allowed. Not sure what you mean by “real world” games, but on Roblox most stuff probably won’t be allowed
As long as you are using original models, animations, etc, not using anything (including textures and sounds) from the GTA V itself, and most importantly, following Roblox’s guidelines and Tos, you’re good to go.
As long as abiding by TOS, yes. But one question, why exactly do you want to do this? This isn’t exactly a concept that hasn’t been made in Roblox before, and it’s not super interesting without large-scale NPC support.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with doing something like this. After all, Rockstar (creator of GTA) does not own the open-world robbery sim genre. They just made the genre popular.
Do note that it took hundreds of people to create GTA games, so doing this by yourself, or even a couple people is no easy feat. It would get very costly, and Roblox has its limits, and depending on the complexity of your creation, it might hit those limits.
However, I would love to see something like this on Roblox!
