We are making a gritty ww2 game right now and are a bit worried about if this is will get us banned
its a bit violent lol
Would this be allowed if we added some sort of blood effect setting? or do i have to remove this all together?

I have seen multiple games with that blood effect and I don’t believe you could get banned for such a thing…

And I would say no. Basing it off of WWII is already a flag. The fact that blood still comes out despite them being dead already is really dark. I would immediately respawn the dead player or something. Or make it so they can’t shoot a dead player.
As long as your game is not available for Console, you’re good to go.

That is not all though. Your game isn’t appropriate just because there is no console support.

Right, it’s one of the many factors. However, judging by the video OP sent I’ve seen much worse that has been accepted and/or featured on Roblox and I don’t think OP’s game will be taken down for intense violence

Yes this is totally fine seeing how Roblox are handling their games right now, there’s way worse games out there that’ve had hundreds of players.

I mean… the bleeding out might be too realistic and I’m more than sure that executing a visibly wounded NPC might be too much for the younger players.

Honestly, the phantom forces blood effect is a lot more gritty than that. As said above, as long as you don’t release that effect for console, you should be ok.
EDIT: I stopped the video at 9 seconds before posting that^. The entire killing while wounded is a bit edgy, but still could pass. The twitching hand after death though might be too much. I’m not saying it’s against the rules, but consider toning it down a bit out of courtesy.

I feel like this will be allowed. I have seen many shooting games like these. But one thing that bugs me is that your game depicts WW2 which is a real life event
Which can cause trauma to players, but also WW2 is a really old event so I dont think so it might affect it that much

the twitching hand is just a weird thing with ragdolls that isnt supposed to happen.
Mad Paintball has heads getting blown to bloody bits so you’re alright.
If you’ve played the game, Gladiators, it has dismemberment, blood puddles, and heads and various body parts that have blood coming out in a gladiator arena… I’m sure this will be fine.
I also do believe you should, possibly, have an option to disable the blood.

the only thing is the playermodels in gladiators are blocks, while in this game they are more human-like. wouldnt that maybe make roblox not happy with it?

Most likely, as Roblox has already allowed numerous games that I would say is a lot more violent, such as Phantom Forces and Gladiators.
I believe the reason why they are still up today despite it not being exactly the most child-friendly game on the platforms are because they implement a setting to toggle blood effects.
Though, like @incapaxx said, basing it off of World War II is already a red flag and could already jeopardize the entire project for removal.
Bad Business has a blood effect that can be turned off and on so…No.

I agree with @Mr_Unlucky on the blood toggle option as a safety. World War games are also a red flag to Roblox usually but again, there is a D-Day game but I’m not sure if they would consider it World War primarily.
More of like a specific event of it.
There’s loads of games like that, like Phantom Forces and Gladiators and D-Day. There’s even a lot of WWII groups and games, just search them up. I think it may be allowed.

Seeing the amount of games like these on Roblox, I think Roblox will tolerate this game, because there are many great games like this that don’t get terminated. However I suggest make something where blood is turned off if they are under 13.

This is allowed.
I’ve had worse things, and it’s been allowed.
As long as you don’t have hyper-realistic gore (as in limb dismemberment) then you are good to go.
However, this may be subject to not getting featured. You can get it on front page, but not featured.
