So I’m designing some NPC’s for a game I’m working on. There’s a group of rebels in the game known as “The Fractured”, and I wanted something to tie the characters in it together. I decided an armband would work well, however I’m not sure of the maroon color could be seen as being too similar to the “bad german wwII” armbands. Would this get me moderated?

I understand your concern but you need to not worry about that. It’s simply a maroon colored armband and this will not cause you to get banned whatsoever. The most you could get is your asset taken down because someone decided to report you but a ban is highly unlikely.
And if you are wondering about it’s resemblance to WW2 then in my personal opinion I see no resemblance whatsoever. You won’t get banned, you are safe to use it.
