I was thinking of parodying the Jägermeister logo for a future project involving racing vehicles with sponsors on them (see image below). Since Jägermeister is an alcohol company, I have doubts on if it will be accepted by them, but it’s only going to be seen on vehicles/billboards, and not actually drinkable in-game.
I think that won’t be allowed lol.
Mostly because it’s a brand so it can get roblox sued, and alcohol is not permitted on roblox (as of right now).
i’ve made 2 parts for the logo, the text and the actual logo. i changed the name from “Jägermeister” to “Jagdgesellschaft” (Master Hunter → Hunting Party) and replaced the stag with a 4 horned goat. it’s definitely got the same feel as the original brand without actually being it.
The only times it will be seen is on motorsport liveries and not as an actual consumable item.
FYI this is what the text and the picture parts of the logo look like
(ignore my terrible drawing of a hebridean sheep)
do you reckon i should try upload the decals on an alt account to see if roblox would moderate it?
The Roblox Team of Mods -including the bots - hardly ever moderate trademarked logos or intellectual properties, much less if it’s satire. They recently got rid of many trademarked shirts, but rips from other games and media and screenshots can exist for decades on the Toolbox. I think Roblox have some slack legally, so it only gets rid of trademarked stuff in the Avatar Shop or when they receive a specific cease-and-desist. For example, to this day you can still get Genshin’s main cast from the Toolbox and a lot of Dr. Pepper and Coca Cola stuff.
It’s always good to be safe, tho. Substitute any satire logos of adult stuff for PG versions. In this case, to not compromise on having a german type for drinkable liquids on this car’s vinyl, the original type “Jägermeister” means “master hunter”, so how about Entsaftermaister (Master Juicer) then make the logo have a fruit and a processor.
(Research your creation before moving on, many times I found out a name or logo I created, which seemed original, already existed and had a completely different meaning)
Oh and be careful even with the car models and names. Some get you in trouble even if it’s a different model you made. Make sure it’s different enough that it can be trademarked by you.
