This icon and thumbnail look good. I think they should do their job and attract some players. Nice job on creating these!

I don’t think they look wacky and stereotypical enough for the younger players, nor do they look high quality enough for more serious, mature players.

For the former problem, the main aspect causing this is the lack of bright colours, outstanding effects (VFX) and a more extraordinary logo. For the latter problem, the icon looks very low-quality as it is basically a generic representation of a sword game, meaning that the players will have no interest in trying it. The thumbnail is much below the proper standards for marketing. First, it uses a non-Roblox background, which basically means that the game’s map would probably be very bland, to the point that it is better not shown. Unfortunately, the viewers will understand this very quickly. Plus, the two characters are not very high-resolution, and the sword contact has no special effects.

In conclusion, here’s a few things you can do:

  1. Base the arts on the UNIQUE factor of your game. Ex. Team Battle Mode.
  2. Use an actual Roblox background for the GFX, and instead of photoshopping the two characters, put them in the actual 3D render of the map directly.
  3. Add very fancy VFX effects.
