Would this be a good idea to attract players?

Ive seen alot of games like da hood put squid game related things in their thumbnail even though their game is completely different and the squid game stuff is an add-on sort off.

Would this be a good idea? And does it actually work with good results if anyone has any evidence?

Squid Game has already slipped and fell off. So no, in my opinion. Go for some art or screenshots.

No, it could attract more players, however, they will instantly leave your game if they dislike it or if they find that the game is completely different from what they saw in the thumbnail. This could lead to a decrease in stats and analytics for your game, which may cause the discovery algorithm to stop promoting it.

I should’ve clarified, I meant after squid game season 3 releases. Maybe adding a few guards in the thumbnail as skins or something for the game.

Do you think this game uses squid game well in the thumbnail?
