Is this allowed on the website as a roblox ugc?

I have read through the TOS, community guidelines and Roblox’s Marketplace Policy and have come to find out it should be allowed because in the Marketplace Policy it says “Do not submit content that closely imitates existing Roblox-created items or other creators’ items. This includes copying the shape, color scheme, or distinctive features of existing items.”. It will not be copying anyone else’s stuff but I am still not 100% sure because it’s a valk-inspired designs with original shapes and new materials. It also doesn’t reuse the iconic feather layout or color scheme of the classic Valk, what could get it taken down is the feather structure or color.

By Roblox’s rules, this kind of UGC isn’t allowed, but there are already a lot like it in the catalog and Roblox doesn’t really care anymore. So it’s up to you, you can post it if you want, just know it’s still technically against the rules, even if they don’t care much about it now.

If your concern is getting moderated, speaking in terms of possibilities, it’s very unlikely they would do anything. Like I said, there are tons of similar items nowadays and Roblox barely cares about that anymore. And since your design looks a bit more different, I’d say it’s even less likely to get taken down.

well I just don’t know anymore because they do waves of deletions and if its my own mesh and texture is it really breaking the rules?

Yeah, even if it’s your own mesh and texture, it can still break the rules if it closely resembles a classic item like the Valk. Roblox cares more about how it looks than how it was made.
