Would This Be Allowed? | Roblox Ads

Would it be allowed to make an ad system for roblox games?
The idea would be that advertisers can go to a website and buy an ad slot (prob something like how google does it) Then on games developers with ad get robux for amount of views on ads. This would link to some offsite item (but they would be all moderated by our staff) The advertiser would upload an image to our site which our staff would moderate which would then be moderated by roblox.

So would this be against TOS and if this was an actual way for devs like you to make more money would you do it (devs would prob be paid in USD)

Roblox doesn’t really allow off-site links. Roblox just wants everything to be on Roblox. lol
I can’t really say if this is against the TOS. But a cool idea.

in that situation we could have stuff like toys there or games but idk

Also roblox games could potentially put their ads there

Offsite website links, services, and additional 3rd party content are not permitted on Roblox with the following exceptions: YouTube, Facebook, Discord, Twitter, Twitch (and such other links that Roblox may subsequently permit)

Encouraging users to go to unpermitted offsite links, content, or services is also not allowed.

You cannot (and you cannot allow others) sell, trade or give away Robux, digital goods or game codes except through official channels on Roblox platform.

Unfortunately, this is not allowed according to the rules, but I really like the idea.

then why are sponsors allowed like the scooby doo event on adopt me?

I honestly do not know but Roblox must have been involved in some way.

I think there are other ways you can allow for paid advertisements in your games - I’ve seen it in many games over the years, so its nothing new. I’m not clear on the rules surrounding it, but I don’t think that strictly allowing other users to pay for ads in your games is against TOS. The way you’re suggesting going about it, although a pretty great idea, is unfortunately most likely against TOS. I’d suggest looking in the FAQ and TOS to find out the specifics.
