Hey, so for one of my upcoming games we want the lobby to be a nightclub, that will be used for intermissions, map choosing and some other things we have planned. Now the problem isn’t the nightclub but instead more what I have inside of it. We want to have dancers, roblox avatars in the nightclub up on stage and dancing. The dances wouldn’t be inappropriate in any way, or suggestive towards something that goes against roblox TOS.
With this being said I want to know where the line is between what’s allowed and what is isn’t to prevent things in our game from being misinterpreted and moderated. If anyone knows anything that can help me It’d be appreciated a lot.
Well, the dances should be fun and friendly. You should make them similar to any of the emotes Roblox has up for sale. That way, it shouldn’t be eligible to be condemned as a violation of the ToS.
Another thing is clothing. The dancers should be wearing proper clothing, not suggestive to anything in any way. Leah Ashe and JParty’s avatars both would be good examples.
Just a side note: the stage set shouldn’t be suspicious either. You don’t want to have legal dancers and an illegal stage.
Yeah this did help actually thanks, we’ve already got clothing sorted they’ll be wearing the game merch and I’ll use your suggestion of using roblox animations or other approved ones.
